ANNUAL REPORT STRATEGY & DESIGN FOR FIRST FOUNDATION
The 2024 Annual Report marked a shift in tone and purpose for First Foundation—reframed as an Investment Prospectus to reflect the organisation’s bold plans to scale its impact over the next five years.
Rather than simply reporting on outcomes, the publication, titled Accelerating Impact, was intentionally designed to spark conversation and inspire potential funders. It paired robust evidence with deeper storytelling: hard data, human-centred narratives, and a clearly articulated case for investment in long-term, intergenerational change.
The visual design evolved to support this dual purpose—accommodating more in-depth content, larger imagery, and strategic infographics. The result is a future-focused report with a longer shelf-life—built not just to inform, but to actively engage new and existing partners in accelerating First Foundation’s next chapter.

Supporting case studies put the human stories front and centre. Scenarios were developed to help investors see how their investment in First Foundation's programme can impact New Zealand society as a whole.

That’s why this year’s Annual Report was framed as an Investment Prospectus—a way to invite others to join us in accelerating impact, not just measuring it.
